Professional Experience 

Community Manager, Jaunt VR Palo Alto, CA  

Social media management: Own all aspects of Jaunt social media channels, including strategy, content creation, editorial calendars, posting, moderation, and analytics. 

  • Grew Twitter account from 250 to 12k+ followers in 18 months; average weekly growth of 250 followers per week. 
  • Named in top 3of “15 Twitter accounts to follow" to keep up with VR by Tech Republic.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and community evangelists; developed strong industry awareness.
  • Collaborate with partners on social media marketing across our channels and theirs to promote VR releases. 

Event Marketing: Coordinate, oversee, and execute demos and marketing events.

  • Planning and oversight of Jaunt’s presence at a wide variety of events including executive meetings with key partners, activations at large-scale national and international events (CES, IBC, SXSW), industry conferences, and community events.
  • Conducted East Coast “meetup tour,” giving demos and presentations to establish relationships with VR Evangelists nationwide. 
  • Design booth, hire and oversee staff, setup technology, strategize and implement activations to build brand awareness and user acquisition.

Communications: Write, edit and publish internal and external email communications, newsletters, website content, and marketing materials.

  • Respond to all inbound messages and triage to appropriate team.

Developed social media and brand awareness strategies for clients across a variety of verticals and industries.
